Xev Gets Her Passphrases Here

Single passwords like "password1" are no good - i.e. they suck! Therefore, I created this page for decent & easy passphrases.

On this webpage, "significant" means easy for you to remember & hard for others to guess.

Type in your lists in lower case and seperate entries with spaces. The program will handle the rest.

You only need a FEW small items in each box to generate a lot of large passphrases/passwords.

Significant Names:(seperated by spaces)   (athletes, musicians, historical figures, pets, etc.)

Significant Places:(seperated by spaces)   (streets, towns, places you like, etc.)

Significant Numbers:(seperated by spaces)   (old adresses, phone numbers, dates, etc.)

Other Categories:(seperated by spaces)   (cool passwords, technical terms, etc.)

Your special character:

Remove the letters "A" & "E".       Remove the letters "I" & "O".
Replace "T" with "+".       Replace "S" with "Z".
Limit password length to characters.       Use lower case letters and upper case letters.

Passphrases:(seperated by spaces)   (Copy the result to a file to save it.)

How can I remember my passwords? Use one of these FREE programs:

KeePassX Homepage (cross-platform: Windows, Mac, Linux)

KeePass Password Safe (open source) (cross-platform: runs on .NET or Mono frameworks)

If you have a photographic memory & want really strong passwords, go to one of these websites:

Perfect Passwords or Diceware Homepage

This page uses a good mixture of caps & lower-case by default. We strive to be different (i.e. less predictable). Also, remember that password length equals strength. However - if your application will not take long passwords - you can remove some vowels. This web page can do it for you, or you can do it yourself.

Live and be happy, beloved children of my heart,
and never forget that, until the day comes when God
will deign to reveal the future to man, all human
wisdom is contained in these words: Wait and hope!
